I write tunes. I follow along as they figure themselves out, then I name them, transcribe them, add chords, copyright them, tell their stories, learn to play them if I can. They get played several times each—maybe three times for short tunes, maybe twice for longer ones. Only a few real long ones get played just once. And they can go together in sets of one or two or three tunes. They are written out plain but sound much better with ornamentations, with a lift and a lilt, so they dance. — I hope you enjoy my tunes. Feel free to play them, pass them along, change the chords, put them together in different sets, have fun with them. If you record them, please credit the composer.
— Here are some of them. The title links to the sheet music. The ones on Soundcloud are usually ones I wrote for FAWM, which is February Album Writing Month, an online challenge to write 14 songs in 28 days (FAWM.org).
