I got a new CD of original fiddle tunes. Called SEAGULLS (long story). Keith Fletcher says: “I recommend it for folks looking for something good for the soul.” It comes with its own tunebook as well, all the notes and chords for all fourteen tunes. The tunebook is available from Artlandish Galleries on Walnut, Yellow Dog Bookstore on Ninth, and at Village Books on Bernadette.
And the 2018 CD from Pippa and the Strawmen is called MISSOURICANA. Seven original songs, written by Steve O’Dell (lyrics) and me (melodies) with Mark Ort playing the sweetest of electric guitar. ($10) Available at CDBaby.com, Amazon.com, ITunes, and Spotify.
And there is now even a TUNEBOOK of the notes for all those fourteen original tunes, with stunning black-and-white photos by David Dearnley. ($20). Or if you just want one tune at a time, no photos, give me a dollar and your email address and I can send you a pdf.
ANIMAL CRACKERS (2010), by Pippa Letsky & Friends — vol.1 and vol.2 — a patchwork of animal tunes in oldtime and bluegrass music… CRACKERS! Twelve songs on each album ($10)
JEROME FEST 2009: LIVE AT LUPUS (2010) — what an honor to be among the musicians chosen to feature on this live album! There are nineteen songs and one poem by the Poet Laureate of Missouri. I play the bass with the Celebrated Renaissance Band Reunion and sing Jerome’s “River Cowboy” (track 16) with John Mathis, Lee Ruth, and Dan Peek ($20)
